Environmental Awareness

This course provides participants with the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge required to recognise environmental responsibilities in the workplace and apply sound environmental work practices that support WHS, regulatory and site license outcomes.

This IS Australia course equips participants with the essential awareness, knowledge and practical skills to identify environmental hazards, apply Australian environmental legislation, and integrate sustainable work practices into day-to-day site activities. The course is designed to complement WHS-licensed training pathways by embedding environmental duty of care alongside hazard identification, risk control and incident reporting, supporting the environmental conditions typically attached to civil construction, resources and industrial site licenses.
